Has anyone been to previous land rover world shows?

Was it good, mediocre or downright awful?

Is one day different to another - is it worth staying over festival style? - camping etc and is there any fun to be had of an evening?

Questions questions I know but I'd value your experiences.

I went last year for a day. as its close its ok. if its the closest to you, id say go to it. i only went for the day though. 2 days can get boring if there aint a bunch of you.

pastymuncher... are you selling a landy and do you live in Bude?

Griff, i've a feeling this pastymuncher lives in Laahndaahn thus "Ginstersmuncher" would be more appropriate!

aww well. i just bought a 300tdi off a pastymuncher near bude... havent seen it yet! trewy is going for a look for me this morn. oooooooo dear, what have i done?!

Sorry Pastymuncher, that was the ultimate insult i gave you then oops... (only worse one is suggesting that you munch pasties made by "the Cornish Pasty Company" - the first shop you see when you get off the train to Laaaaaahndaaaaahn at Paddington.)

Saw that landy Griff, it looked superb - hope it was as good as it was marketed as, looked reasonable bargain too. Wossit like Trewey? Does that mean we might see you down here for a weekend Griff, put it through its paces at Baldhu then drive home?

put it through its paces on the M% you mean! trewy did a good job looking at it for me. just dropped the bloke a ton deposit. only thing me and tre are worried about is the leaky sump. so i will give it a good ras around and check when im there on sat. unfortuantely i would be staying long as my folks were meant to be visiting us in Bristol! (from Wales) so its a BBQ on sat night if we can get back in a reasonable time

Hello. It was not that great last year. worst so far by all accounts. The others make a good point one day. If its the closest to you then go. It probably would be the best ever if you dont go. Law of Sod!

that's OK, providing it isn't caused by sump pressurisation.

there is a fair bit of oil there but the previous owners have not been DIY people. i doubt they even popped their heads under it. lets just hope its the gasket which i will do when i give it an oil change.
