Land Rover Theft in general.....

The trouble with where I live is they don't steal the cars, they steal the bits on them, my neighbour works for Mercedes Trucks Customer Service and had a nice set of LED lights on the top of the Sprinter van, 2am in the morning he had a knock on the door, our other neighbour had heard something and looked out the window as they were putting the ladders back in the car that they used to get on top of the van so I'm dreading the thought of fitting a light bar to my disco, my get the welder out and weld the nuts then they will have to make a fair bit of noise grinding them off lol.

as for the disco, so far so good, no ones attempted to steal it, but i do has a disklok on all the time and the rear boot cover open so they can see nothing is in the boot.

The problem is Half the landy thefts will be done by somnweone who knows you or has seen you at a pay & play. and will be a fellow landy owner. the other half will be a mix of pikeys, local druggies, Chav's looking for a quick quid to buy more burberry with.
