Hello
i ordered and paid for a Land Rover Baker Tent from a german company called Red Tent Company in August this year..2020
i understand there will have been difficulties in producing tents and sending them. I contacted them early in Sept and was told it would be another 4 weeks. Since then I have heard nothing. They are not responding to emails and the two listed phone numbers do not work. I am getting concerned as these tents are not cheap.
is anyone else having a similar problem???
has this company gone bust and trousered my money???

Looking at their web-site I would say they are still out there.

Try e-mail contact as a prospective purchaser and see if you get a response?
I would try the Mobile number listed and see if their global-roaming delivers the call, I think it does.

Don't know about the company but just searched on FB, their last post was nine days ago - here's their link https://www.facebook.com/theredtentcompany

If this was me, I'd go public on this - send a damming public post to them, embarrass the hell out of them and let them respond. In no reply within 24hrs, and hoping you bought using a credit card...not debit card...claim back as fraudulent vendor and you'll get a full refund. Once refunded, buy a replacement tent from a known, reputable UK company.

eta: stand no nonsense from crap vendors - publicly shame them, no excuses...and only buy from good traceable sellers

As its an on-line purchase and you have not received goods I would cancell ASAP, work with credit card co to get money pulled back. Don't delay, we will not be in EU much longer.
