I have a Series III (1974) and because it was formerly a British Army Land Rover and then passed on to the Kenya Army I have no idea what Suffix gearbox it has despite the numbers on it. I need to replace a few worn out gearbox items and would appreciate any help possible.
I also have a Series IIA (1970) and has been in the family since new. It needs a bit of work to it but nothing major! I want to keep it Series atop but Defender underneath....because there is little need of having the nearly identical Series.
I live in Kenya. The Series are perfect for me out here. I just need to fix whatever breaks.....
Can someone tell what Suffix the gearbox is from the photos?
