Land Rover Spot Lights

Hi there guys,

Just noticed something dirty inside of my spotlights. Is possible to take it apart and clean them.

No the don't come apart. the only access to the inside is via the bulb apertures.

I cleaned mine through the bulb aperature with a stick with some rag tied around the end, did a pretty good job as well.

If the glass is bonded to the casing... (not sure as mine we're ripped off within days)... pop it in the oven on the lowest it'll go for an hour, this'll melt the glue and allow you to take the glass off.

Clean them out, reseal

Oven....you brave. Might use a heat gun. Thanks.

You'll never get it off with a heat gun... needs to be constant heat all over.

Trust me... an oven on slow cook or Gas mark 0.5 and jobs jobbed.

heatgun = localised sudden heat = cracked glass.
