this is one of the best condition series land rovers ive seen for a long time! its just a pitty that sombodys spoilt it with a rollbar,its got a mint chassis im not sure if its had a new one fitted at some time or not but needs no welding what so ever,the bulkhead it good but its had checker plate bolted to the dash and the clocks fitted to it why ive no idea but think it could be put back to how it should be,doors are good as is the rest of the body very tidy when you think its 45 years old,but its had a the rollbar fitted through the top back corners of the wings over the cab part of the hard top then bolted to the lower part of the roll bar in the rear tub then through the floor to the chassis ! so it has been fitted to a good standard just a pitty it was fitted in the first place,its also got rock slidders fitted,it starts quite well a bit smokey but the bloke it belongs to says it clears when warm,ive only started it and drove it on a trailer so i dont know how good the gearbox is,the smiths heater is missing the pipes are blocked off,now he tells me it only needs the brakes doing for the mot how true that is i dont know but it will need some tyres but i have got a very good set of 205 a/ts that i could put with it for £60 extra he wants £850 for it and i think its very cheap for a series 2a tax exempt land rover.
