Yeah. I got my free compass a couple of years back when I thought it would be a good idea to buy a magazine full of adverts.

i got a torque wrench,
but there was bother with its delivery, as they had run out of them.
it came eventually though. And i'm pleased with it< dunno what it does though
Then the next gift was problematic, a camping chair, again caused people to get upset.

yes i have had no end of problem with my free gifts, but most of then came in the end, all you have to do is keep ringing up and bagder the fookers every couple of days.

Bastids, you reminded me! Took out a subscription (as a birthday present) a year ago and nothing for a month, then chased, and was promised it was in the post, nothing, chased again, promised again, nothing, this went on for 6 months with me getting more and more irate and still nothing and then forgot about it. Note to self...cancel DD and subscription - there's enough ads on the ****ing telly thanks! The articles (which are generally still adverts from their sponsors) are full of dangerous inaccuracies too - fookin crock!

I got a LRO Subscription for Christmas, Chair came at the same time as the ****e Christmas card they sent out Chair is fooking lovely though!
