THIS MODEL AVAILABLE IN UAE . THIS CAR right now in UAE.
and the garage unable to find any fault from yesterday.

we also have manners available here in the UK... now begger off to the intro section and say hello.

then, realising this is a UK BASED (see, I can shout too) forum, use google and find out what its called over here.

quick google suggest its the foreign version of a gaylander.

To us an LR2 is:

I'm being kind on that one, and presuming that english isnt their first language, and a choice of word error, see I am nice :) (which is why I have refrained from posing in the other one post wonder post.)

Have you tried both keys? Do he seats return to the preprogrammed postions when you try to start it? What else appears on the dash?

If there is no out put to the steering lock from the central junction box and fuse 23 is intact the problem will most likely be in your instrument cluster. especially if fault code U3000-48 is stored.

all fuse checked ,all r normal, i get on screen only
STEERING COLUMN LOCKED,
panel become ON normal, showing fuel level, and all system checking as normal
BUT FAIL TO CRANK ,
and message appeared, STEERING COLUMN LOCKED.

There must be a switch or sensor that operates this so have you tried something simple like cleaning/lubricating the key slot with some graphite powder? We have a similar problem on Range Rovers and it's only the little entry flap sticking that causes it.
You might even find that some idiot has sprayed the lock with WD40 or similar and this is now gumming up the works in which case some contact cleaner might wash it out.

Thats not suitable for gaylander 2 keys as its a fob that gets inserted. EDIT: Misread that, think your saying the same thing.

LR2 is the current Freelander2 model in the UK and you might find more success by asking your question the Freelander section as many Freelander owners don't wander into the general Land Rover section.

As I said if fuse 23 is intact and there is no output too the steering column lock it will most likely be a problem with the instrument pack. It is a common fault and I have repaired a few. sometimes software updates in the BCU and IPK will fix it other times a new IPK is needed

thanks for all for helping,
my car now ok after 4 days in garage, they update software, and change steering column module.
