Land rover discovery tdi auto

Hi my land rover discovery 300tdi auto 1994 has lost drive but still has reverse, park works. Does anyone know what this could be ? Do i need a full new box or could it be something with in the box? I have checked the oil which is fine, iv tried drive in hi/low dif lock still nothing. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated thanks Carl.

clutch A in gear box,can be fixed without rebuilding whole box,once bell housing removed, pump housing comes off the first clutch pack will be burned out if next clutch pack looks fine just need to replace clutch A , friction and steel discs can be brought for about £6 each

Lost reverse gear after a greenlaning day out.

Needed new reckon gearbox fitted. Cost me £900 quid.

Apparently 'legs' whoever they are will fit a fully reconned box for £700. Have a look on the LRO forum for the info if this is required.
