lack of squirt !!!

hello,
ever since i can remember the rear jet and the headlamp jets on my disco 300 have never worked, wondering if anyone knows if these could be down to one fault or more likley to be two separate problems ????

No worries fella - found the diagrams, just trying to make sense of them........

it was blocked with sht
try a fine pin an giv it a good poke, you wont believe ow much sht comes out

rear jet and pipe is fine- blew through with an air line, you can here the pump working but its not pushing anything through. the light jets pump also sounds like its working but not got round to checking the pipes yet,
so foook knows!!!!

Mine does that for the back one - the pipe goes the length of the truck just about and it tends to get all 'mossy' where the water drains back down as a result of knackered anti-syphon valves (little black one way jobbies in the pipes just after the pump.) letting the pipe drain back and leaving ti full of condensation. The algae/moss then falls off and clogs the jet. As its a roof lining partially out job, I've lived with it on mine as I cant be arsed with it.

Or you could try bunging a load of sterident or baby bottle cleaning tablets in the reservoir and flushing it with that - with the jet off there may well still be 'some' water coming out like on mine - just not enough to squirt anywhere....
