L332 TD6 radio noise

Hi,

Have been lurking on the site for a while now ( everyday ), been following the posts with a lot of interest, especially the diagnostic/code reader thread.

I now have a problem with my rangie TD6 2005 in that when you turn the lights on theres a very loud humming/buzzing noise coming from what appears to be the speakers, the radio works fine when the lights are off, so rightly or wrongly i have ruled out the amp.

Any ideas what i need to look for next?.

Alternator supression faulty or bad earths.

thanks for the reply Datatek, had a good look round today and found the noise was actually coming from the drivers door speaker........anyway that got me thinking.....traced the fault to the person who fitted the new door card, wiring harness etc from the old door to the new door crossed the wires for the light with the speaker ( car was salvage when i bought it )......what sort of idiot could do a thing like that???????...............................ME!!!!!!
