l322 suspension reservoir pressure sensor replacement

My TD 6 has a suspension inactive message ,the source of which is reservoir pressure not rising on filling,the cheapest fix/ suggested was to change the pressure sensor before looking at the compressor or valve block,the workshop manual says this sensor is non servicable but I got one from the dealers ,just wondering has any one ever changed one ,or will it knack the reservoir taking it out
