L322 rear door card wiring

2002 L322 3.0 tdi
I've been fiddling with the rear doors (there's a speaker knackered) and the passenger side window is haunted.
Anyone got any idea what the cable I'm pointing to in the photo is for?
There's a 2 pin in-line plug / socket break and the two wires are then spliced into two pairs. One pair goes through the card towards the door opening handle. The other pair (that I'm pointing to) goes through the card just beside the bolt that holds the top of the side pocket trim.
Any ideas? y

Looks like someone has been in there modifying it. Rear door wire colours in RAVE don't match your wires ??

Someone had cut the plug off and the wires were just hanging, so I put the 2 sleeved joints on to allow me to connect to the loom again (I copied the other door)
I just don't know what the wires going through the door card are for

Switches & buttons on the other side ?

Nope, no switches, buttons, lights or sensors (that I can see)
I'm reluctant to strip it in case I do damage or mess it up in some way (whatever it is)

Compare it to the other door ?

Other door is the same
A pair of wires disappear through from the back of the car to the front of it. But there are no switches or sensors or indicators

Perhaps they are for an option your car doesn't have, there are plenty examples of extra connectors on vehicles for options.
