As above, viewed a RR today and the passenger side wing mirror folded in, but only sometimes folded back out, when it did fold out, you could hear the motor still working, and the mirror seemed to not 'lock' into the out position. I know this is a common fault, what the usual fix for it? And at what cost?

Thanks in advance

the folding mirror issues is a common fault on these vehicles, on my l322 my passenger side folding mirror folds in fine but when you press the button to unfold the mirrors it unfolds fine but jumps and makes a ratchet clicking sound likes its trying to unfold further, i have just leant to live with it as its not causing any problems as of yet and to get it fixed would require a whole new mirror assembly which is around £400-£500

Thats exactly it matt, was hoping there'd be a quick fix but read a few psots and looks like it could be a £400 or £500 fix

Viewing some more this week hopefully so will keep you guys posted

had same prob but 100% cure by stretching piece inner tube between hinge gap and releasing then cutting to shape hope this helps you
