Hi all, hopefully somebody can help me out. I'll try and be brief!

I had a flat battery so I disconnected the battery terminals and used a smart charger until the battery was fully charged.

I reconnected the battery and since then:-
1. The windscreen washers have stopped working (headlamp & rear washers ok, all interior lights working, electric windows ok.
2. The key fob won't activate/deactivate the alarm. I can start the car with it and I have tried the resync procedure (key in, position 1,key out, hold unlock, press lock 3 times etc..) with no joy. I can use the key to manually lock the car and this seems to activate the alarm because when I unlock the driver's door, the alarm beeps and indicators flash - this stops when I insert the key into the ignition and turm to position 1. Only the driver's door opens though, I have to press the "lock button" on the dash to unlock the other doors. I assume the fob battery is fine as the red LED flashes.
No issues with Air Suspension.
I have the RSW Allcomms but I couldn't find anything to help me solve this problem.

In respect point 1 - it could be coincidental timing and there's just a blocked tube? I haven't got around to investigating this any further yet.

I am at a total loss in respect of point 2 though.

Does anyody have any ideas?

Dave.

Hi wil2813. Thank you for the response.

I have tried the resync numerous times at various speeds, full moon, and Autumn equinox - no joy.

Oddly, in desperation, I disconnected the battery terminals last night and held +ive and -ive together for a while, reconnected and, lo and behold, the windscreen washers are now working!! Go figure.

Dave.

Thanks again. Had a quick read up about k-bus errors and thought I'd give the Resync One. More. Go....

....and it worked! So all is good with the world again.
