Hi all,

Someone told me a sensible preventative step to make would be to replace all coolant hoses and radiator/water pump.

I'm trying to get a list of part numbers together to price the batch up. I have the Workshop manual and it shows many more hoses that available to buy on such sites as britpart/Island 4x4.

Are there any easy ways to compile part numbers? I want to get genuine hoses and the like.

Cheers

Purchase a parts catalogue is the easiest way, but parts suppliers such as Rimmer Bros have a list that may meet your requirements. http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/SubCate...je1q8qSywdM8JiTO-v3G5nDeae0EfxLzd1xoC53rw_wcB
The question what's wrong with your existing items. Hoses are easy to check, pumps can leak or a bearing failure if your unlucky, rads are mostly problem free if the correct antifreeze solution has always been used.

Part numbers off this. http://lrparts.ru/engl/ then go to Rimmer bros with them and do a search. Hope you have plenty of money.

Do the top radiator hose, common fail as mine did recently and i am just waiting to see if it took my headgasket with it ...

Make sure yo bleed the system very well, have a look on the meeknet site for hints like raising the front on ramps, also the 80 degree mod is a good way to go in my opinion if you have a search on here
