L320 TDV8 gearbox vibration

09 TDV8 sport vibrates when warm between 1500-2500RPM. Under load, and seems to search when cruising. only recently noticed. Did gearbox oil change about 700 miles ago, been fine since, only started last 100 miles. Could this be an oil level issue or have others experienced this before? On holiday at the moment so no tools to check level etc. thoughts?

Correct ATF and filling procedure when you did the change?

Yep all followed correctly. Carried out by an ex LR mechanic (son)

An update!! got the RR on the ramp and there is a Transfer box oil leak. Initial remedy was to check oil level and it was quite low. Changed oil for fresh, filled and issue has gone.
so in short if you get the symptoms above check transfer box oil level
Next event will be to locate leak! ( I think it’s forward output shaft seal?)
