L Jackson and Co

Hi,

Has anybody been to L Jackson and co for any landy parts, or landies??
I read in a LRO magazine, that some 16 year old got a project 109 for £400, and that there is a scrapheap (old landies, bulkheads etc) there aswell. Is it worth the drive from Surrey to get the perfect 109" project vehicle cheaply??

Never heard of em but if you want a project 109 for 400 notes I've got one here.

I only really have £250 though, £400 was just the example, and his landy was in really good nick. If you are still interested, where-abouts are you? And do you have any piccys?

Hmm... you see the thing is by the time I've thrown a few bits in the back that are lying around I'd get 250 quid for it at the scrappers. Or I could take off the safari roof and a few other desireable bits, get meself 250 quid or so for them and still have 150 quids worth of scrap. It'll be going on ebay once I get round to takin some piccies.

The £150 w/out safari roof sound good

there good but expensive.ill get you a scrap landy if yer like.plenty in the hedgerows round here.....

Been lookin' in fields round my way for ages, but have never seen a 109". Never seen any landies for that matter. Where abouts are these mysterious hide-and sseek players?

ill get you a 109 but they cost a good 1.5k in fair condition....can go by yard today if you like..

cost ya my time tho.fooked off with time wasters...how much you want to spend?

fookin hell.109 under 800 is not gunna happen....

you may as well give up with a budget like that and buy a ford fiesta..

If I could find series landies for 200 quid I'd buy one every day. A few years ago you could get an mot'd series 3 for 400 quid. Not any more. You'll be lucky to get anything for that money these days and if you do it'll be rotten as a pear.

I bought a running 109 ffr from them for £250 about 4 years ago.They are near doncaster airport tha knows.

Just looked on their website and the only 109s i can find are ones that cost a few grand. Is the yard with all the cheap/project ones just a place where you turn up and have a look round cos i live close and wouldnt mind getting a 109 for a project if the price is right.
