Key fob resynch

Hi all I have Range Rover 4.6 on 2000 plate
My rangey has been off the road for the last 6 weeks as my engine is emobilized as my fob will not do anything I've replaced fob batteries and door lock but still won't except eka code
Does anyone live near me who could help
If all else fails would a synchmate solve my problems as I'm in desperate need to get her back on the road
Any help would be much appreciated

Hi I haven't refurbished my key just replaced batteries
