k bus fault or bcu?

Nope, nada....

Mine doesn't even give me the message even if I leave the whole key in the ignition...I do know it is something that can be set in the BCU settings, maybe mine has been turned off as it is really annoying!

But my steering lock goes crazy - locking and unlocking constantly if I leave the key on top of the barrell, I guess the signal is intermittent at that point!

Ok, thanks for trying saint, strange you don't get a key in message when it's in! Like you say our 'settings' might be differant
