Hi All,
Still suffering with a dead Range Rover but hopefully now the allcomms kit has arrived I can get to grips with the problem.
Most of the modules won't 'link' with the computer, the few that will I have managed to read and reset the faults. The main fault that won't reset is a K-bus fault on the Instrument pack. Currently the alarm is on constantly and I can not open any of the doors other than the drivers door with the key. Most of the buttons on the dash won't work, or do strange things when depressed. I think it may be a BCU problem but until I've fixed the K-bus issue I can't communicate with it.
Any help gratefully received.

Regards
Ian

Hi Just Bumping this post as we have now found the fault.
Headlamp levelling ecu found to be underwater in the nearside A post. Took out the unit, dried out the area it fits in, and cleaned the plugs and connections. Ecu miraculously appears to be still working and the car is now working perfectly. All EAS faults gone, power steering now as it should be and all functions restored. Just need to find out where this water is coming in from. Power drain also sorted, so looking forward to getting a few miles down over the weekend as it has been stuck on the drive for weeks.
Many Thanks for all who contributed. Cheers Ian

Bonjour.
Bravo Ian

Translation for the anglais.
