Just ordered a full length roof rack do I need springs?

Hi, I've just ordered a new full length safari style rack to go on holiday with, I've got one of those half racks at the mo but when it was fully loaded and with four bikes on the back of the car and a full tank if fuel it really made the car sag a bit, it's a 51 reg and looks still on original springs and when unloaded , it rides good although a little harsh .
Have any of you up rated your springs after fitting a rack? Did it still ride ok when empty?
I'm a mechanic so no worries fitting them if I have to swap back to original springs to make it ride better, but I don't really know which springs to go for. I would rather ask people who have them fitted rather than those that sell the springs. Anyway I've talked too much but I hope to hear your opinions. Thanks

doesn't yrs have the adjustable suspension? you can raise and lower the rear with the key fob

Does your disco have SLS air suspension or Coils if its Air suspension you might want to check the height sensors
