Due to get my 2003 model next week and joined as this looked a good source of info even if slightly off the wall at times.

Bought one as we sometimes have to get a heavy trailer across grass fields during the summer months and our main tow driver has moved on. I have never owned one before although driven loads of Land Rovers in the TAVR (anybody moaning about transmission noise should sit in a Saracen from Croyden to the east german border!):)

Sorry no, couldn't stretch to that in the comfort I deserve so I've got a freebie (I know, I know, to you Disco/Defender lot its not a real LR but its still better than a far eastern tank!!) as it will only be for occaisional towing etc.

Come on, it's all shiny and black with leather seats and beige upholstery and such. You don't honestly think the missus (aka the boss) is going to let me get it dirty!

Actually I dunno, it's a long way between home and work I might get lost some days!!!
