Jet wash or not?

Hi all
Just about to refit front offside wheel and looking under the wheel arch I wonder if I should jet wash off the accumulated crap (not much in reality) or leave it alone.
Advice??

Mine gets washed twice a year, need it or not.

Leave it alone, you might not like what you seen underneath...

No No No. I only wash the passenger side - coz that's the bit my mum sees when I pick her up!

We are Landy owners, we have no scruples, we contribute more than our fair share to the airborne pollutants every time we manage to start our vehicles. WHY O WHY do you want to use a resource so valuable as water to clean it.
