Jate Rings

Hi All, dumb question comming

Just fitting some forged Jate rings to me 90. Just realised the chassis box section is wider at the front than the rear.

The rings fit sung at the front but are a good 10mm to 15mm wider than the rear. Is this right? Are there two different sizes or do the rear ones just swing about???

washers/spacers/extra nuts?

just leave em as they are. But if you do use washers make sure you space them equally on both sides of the chassis.

I did hear some years ago that you should never tighten jate rings too tight, they should hang loose...i dont remember what the reason was..but i remember thinking, thats good advice...someone with less alcohol induced brain damage will probably remind me..

No, its evening now so it doesnt reflect so much...

In a couple of hours you wont be able to see it cos it'll be dark.

Has anyone had this issue with jate rings and what did you do, or am i the only who has ever bought them

buy forged ones and the answer to the others definitely maybe pack it with penny washers perhaps

Need to get some jate rings anyone know where i can get the forged ones? can only find the welded type
