Air compressor has gone I think, took the filter off put my finger over it and nothing, wont suck on me at all, been looking around at prices, and noticed some compressors with yellow Dunlop stickers on them, are these Chinese copy's? anyway this compressor is dead, put my hand on it and cant even feel it running, so I guess its that

I got this from Germany (free express postage) says its OME http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVE...500814?hash=item280620bd8e:g:xDcAAOSwLVZV1s43
I need it asap, or I am truly screwed, the last one I had was OME too but just lasted over 2 years, I expected it to last longer than that, and I have had no problems with air leaking or anything like that, so this might or might not be OME but thats not to say its any worse than an OME part, and it just £150 which isn't too bad OME is crazy ££, and it come with the filters too, it all adds up its from a German manufacturer as well so should be ok quality http://www.arnotteurope.com/default.aspx
I think they make the bags as well?

Talk to Kurt. Cheaper and you know what you're getting. I've had one of Kurt's on for about 3 years which is supposed to be the sort of lifespan to expect.

@martyuk was looking at another make that came in at £150. Think he said it was faster and designed to work longer.

This is one reason I thought I would try the Alnott one, the bags have a good reputation (I have had a set on mine for a long time) and the bags have a lifetime warranty, so I hope this is if not the same as OME it will be better, who knows until you try it, ok I am paying a little over, but its new and not re manufactured, and if it lasts then in the end it could work out cheaper than changing it every 2 years, we will se if I have done the right thing, someone has to be the first to try it

I bought my last one from Kurt I'm very happy iv got a spare tho in the boot just incase, if your really stuck I can lend it to you but I'm in Bromley if you can pick it up ?
I have ordered one already from Germany they sent it UPS will get it 10am Monday so I am fine, thanks for the offer though

Sorry - playing catch up on forums today, as I've been busy with other things during the week!

Viair 444C was the one I was looking at and I think some of the US members on another forum have gone for. Just had a look aswell, and it seems like they are now £199.99 :( I should have bit the bullet and got one when they were cheaper!

On the Viair site they only list them as a dual kit for about £365, but I did find one place that did them as individual compressors aswell....

Though given the availability of P38 compressors, parts, rebuilt kits etc I haven't yet decided to spend the extra... but the 444C is rated at 100% duty cycle and up to 200psi working pressure...
