I have wanted a Land rover since I was a little boy in Australia and at 37 years of age I finally realised that dream. Only the people here really understand what it's like to get the keys to your first Landy and for me that happened today. A 1989 Defender 110 V8 with 133 000 on the clock and in really good condition, at £700 I am grinning from ear to ear. It needs a little work but surprisingly not a lot, the seller was in a good mood and already owning a number of them decided to part with it and knew it was going to a good home. I look forward to sharing my experiences over the coming years.
