Cold starts cause limp mode?

Hi, I’m new to this forum, so please be kind I have a RR Vogue 3.6 tdv8 on a 59 plate.
I have a problem with car going into limp mode, especially when it’s cold it would appear. It has been to the garage and had the fuel rail sensors changed, and car appeared ok, however, this morning I decided to check everything was ok as it is cold outside, same problem has returned? Could someone possible advise what the issue could be? I’d be really grateful.

How old is the battery and is it the correct one?

+1 check battery voltages especially when cranking

Hi, I’m not to sure how old the battery is, how do I find out?

They usually have a manufacturing date or charge by date on them.
If it's more than 3-5 years old it would be worth considering replacement.
