I agree that some supplier are cheaper and I look for that myself, but I'm feeling my fingers have been burnt here, almost 6 weeks and no parts and no way to communicate with them, certainly will figure in my calculations when looking for bits in the future.We have landers shop, Landy point and rld to name a few.
Three of which are very competitive but not as competitive as island 4x4 for such a pricey choice of car.. Even with the postage.
They're not very good at answering emails either, other than the last one I sent in May about delivering to France. They did respond saying that they were running on a skeleton staff and euro deliveries were suspended.
There are 3 suppliers in France that offer prices like Rimmers if I'm desperate for a part which rare as I keep stock
I wouldn't mind some delay, I completely understand things are not normal, but they managed to take the card payment on day one, and have not been in touch to advise of any delay, 6 weeks is way too far and I've had enough now.

Is there any way the bank can help or try sending an email with a different address. Maybe your emails are going to their spam... I don't know what else to suggest really.
Something has obviously gone wrong, Island have always been very good when I have used them, as Mark suggests, perhaps you emails are going into their spam box.

I have used their online contact form as well as e mail to the address they give and the phone number given, I would have expected something to get through.
I bet you are not the only customer having these problems so they are harming their own business. Considering the ammount of customers that use this site I'm surprised they don't monitor this site.
Maybe they are insolvent and are using yours and others money to stay afloat, maybe you could try sending them a demand for reimbursement through the post with some franking in bold red on the envelope stating Very important do not ignore official debt recovery or something like that you might just get lucky.
I find online contact forms to be useless. Not specific to Island, I think the whole lot of them go into a black hole somewhere.
Now that's interesting, makes it seem that my order has gone astray, or I've ordered something hard to get.
