All the stuff I have looked at from Rimmers has been 30 to 50% dearer and their postage to France is not cheap.

maybe it's the shipping costs!!

I bought 2 new front air springs for £58 each but that is VAT included - £46 ex vat..
Island4x4 list their air springs as £46 but they throw the Vat on at the checkout so it works out the same IIRC.

Same for my Drag link..

Rimmers "OEM" for suspension components in this case was "MOOG" it worked out at £58 INC VAT - £49 ex VAT
Island4x4's OEM is Lemforder £46 ex vat it'm assuming late 50s including VAT

No difference really..

Maybe it is shipping that makes it expensive for you??

About half an hour ago courier arrived with parts.
Phew glad to see them.
Now starting to plan my tub top replacements

Must admit its been a few years since i dealt with Island but they were always very good and got stuff to me in Russia in about 7 days. Rimmers are more expensive but have used them for tricky parts where you need to give the vin number to ensure its the correct years model for my P38 and they also haven't let me down yet as returning parts from Russia is an expensive exercise and it often cheaper just to order another.
