over the weekend i ordered and paid for tyre online at tyresdirectuk.co.uk and i havent recieved any confirmation emails so i have been trying to ring them today but just rings out and with no address on the website iv googled tyres direct luton and the address has come, iv googled map'd the address and its come up as a house on a country lane.. startin to get concerned now has anyone dealt with this company before?????

im based near liverpool so its a bit far for me thanks iv just pm'd you the link with the address, however i have found someone selling tyres on ebay and the phone number match's the one from the website adn they have over 300 positive feedacks and are still advertising with quite a few recent transactions. so fingers toes and anything in close proximity that will bend crossed ill be ok!!

i bought it on my debit card which i believe isnt covered....... :(
jai iv bought it up on google street views and it looks like a nice house! do you see any sign of a tyre company i noticed hes got a couple of cosworths on the drive..... iv emailed him on ebay and on another email address so im waiting to hear back now..... what should i do now just sit tight or panic????

ok ill sit tight thanks for your help everyone!! my bum was twitching to say the least i feel a bit better now that iv found them on ebay just wish id bought through ebay so i would be covered!!

worst case scenario is that you could order a set via abay and pay by paypal. When they arrive you can then do a paypal claim that you haven't got them as the ones that arrived would have been for the transaction you did online and have the online receipt to prove it.;)

i like your way of thinking! although im sure a signature would be needed? suppose i could always put a random name and deny all knowledge when quieried.. hmmmmm or get some of ebay and then burn the ****ers house down!!

Doesn't matter if a signature is needed. Your signature is for the ones you bought earlier online.;) they'd arrive first afterall.

suppose so although i havent recieved a confirmation email saying iv paid? but it would show up on my bank statement wouldnt it..... sounds like it would be a long drawn out experience id prefer to rob his cosworths and use them for off roadin! haha

You could always try speaking to your bank and explaining your concerns. They may be ble to stop the transaction wich would allow you to do it through ebay.

if it is a business haha the website looks legit and proffesional although there isnt a address or email address on the website but i suppose if your operating from home you wouldnt want your home address all over the web. someone in work suggested that they are just the middle man so might not actually hold stock which would explain the house as business address
