Yes, I believe there is a tool for just that job. If I remember, its a sort of a diamond shape, you put the rubber through the hole and push up the slot.... I also seem to remember lubrication is required for pushing the thing in....

As above, Frost do them.

Near Junction 20 M6

Bit too far, might as well buy one or struggle

They are 32 quid on fleabay so about the same with the postage from Frost, I bought mine years ago and used it to fix classic Minis, handy for Landy now and it makes the job simple, can put the strip in a Mini windscreen in less than a minute.
