Is there a fuel cut / inertia switch on a 1996 Range 2.5 Diesel

I'm just wondering as I'm not sure if I can hear the fuel pump pumping.. I've been playing about with the fuel injection pump, it was working before but now its not.. do i have to reset anything? as only drips of fuel are coming out the injectors...
