I can use an LR-1 adapter to plug my snap-on ethos diagnostic puter into the 5 pin connector on a 1996 3.8 V8i. The connector is under the drivers dash or behind the drivers kick panel.

I've just checked my diagnostic and I can go right back to 1991 with it on disco's.

sniggerwhat about me series.....ooops fergot its only got a battery,coil,dizzy,plugs and alternator !!!!!!! and a couple of light bulbs.....still too fookin complicated ....and a starter motor/handle
The best thing we can do with that would be to crush it and put it out of it's misery. It would be a slow drawn out death for it while in your hands.

Musta been on quite an old recovery truck then. New ones are governed to 56mph.
I can stick it on mine so you can tell people it's done 85mph if ya want?
