Would appreciate views - have a 2003 D2 with a steering box that has had a slight leak for the last couple of years. A few drips a day - so not pouring out, and after a decent clean got past MOT without an advisory (but has had for the last three years about this). Is this something just to live with, to replace seals (£150), to replace with a "decent second hand one" (£250) or a reconditioned one (£350)? Have been told changing the seals is a waste of money as will invariable still leak, and there is no guarantee that the second hand one and the recon one will not leak in 6 months!
