Introductions

Hi All,

I thought it was finally time to introduce myself and become a more active member in stead of just lurking.
I've had my 78 S3 88 for about 2 years now, which has a 2.8td Daihatsu engine swapped in and i've just bought a slightly poorly Range Rover 4.2 SC for longer journeys. Can't wait to get fixing on the latest buy and will try and contribute to the community as best I can.

Strange, I can only upload one image per post.

The Range Rover, has passed it's MOT today, but on the way home the transmission started thumping into 1st and then went into limp mode with only gears 1 - 3 available, I've scanned it and got a code back for 3 - 4th shift. I'm hoping that a change of the Mechatronic sleeves and a proper oil/filter change will cure it, time will tell....
