Just putting the feelers out , have just mot'ed the trusty range rover, thinking of selling due to only covering under 200 miles in about 2 years !! It's has been stored in garage for last 10-12 months. All it required for mot was some bushes. I no longer use it due to change of job , I have a pick up, the other halfs daihatsu, and the defender 127 on the road and the range really is surplus.
In the last 500 miles it has had new discs and pads all round, radiator, battery, full exhaust. It has rangerover sport wheels with intermediate tyres at a cost of £700 for a set of 4 at least 10-12 mm of tread left , it has only ever seen grassy fields , never used or abused, it's like a child to me, it would be wrong. It's not immaculate, the usual head liner sag, headlight grille near side missing, slight corrosion on door bottoms. I've never had a problem with it apart from a split radiator (which I believe is common) I have replaced with a "newer" version, it shouldn't be a problem in the rest of its time with us. It is sat on springs, so no issues with leaky air bags or naff compressors. It also has half a tank of diesel ! It's standard inside with cloth interior , all in good condition apart from headliner. The reg on it is now P90 BRD. Will try and upload some pics. It owes me between 3-3.5k. If there is some interest I will put up some detailed pictures and more info. Cheers.
