Ok what you need to do is match the sender to the temp guage. That is very important to get the reading right. Now you need to get it to adapt to the thread type because you dont usually find the fine thread and the old sender type that matches the guage you have. However Steve parker has got some that will screw in Right thread and be the right 'Matched to guage' type you need. screw in no mods needed. Jai

Ok. I'm pretty sure the dash and gauges in it are the original 2.5td ones. Should a 2.5td temp sensor give me decent readings? Or does the 200tdi produce more heat than the older engine?

I've been looking around to see if I can find the part number for a 200tdi temp gauge and 200tdi temp sender, because that would be ideal and I want to do it properly. But no luck so far though. Cheers for the help mate. :)
