Disco 2 Intercooler Hose Confusion

Hi Chaps,

Easy one for you - I've picked up a hose kit just like this one https://www.jgs4x4.co.uk/discovery-2-td5-silicone-turbo-intercooler-hose-kit/

I can't figure out where the forth hose comes into the picture!

After a good poke around and going off of the below I'm totally stumped



Can anyone point me to the part number / location for that fourth s bend hose?

IMO they made the kit to suit manual or auto cos the ICs are not 100% the same so one of those hoses will not fit well

Two less hard to reach hose clips to skin my knuckles on so I guess thats a win, thanks!

Is it in there to fit a Defender or something do you know? Seems random to throw in a spare

It will fit a D2 with the other kind of gearbox or maybe one hose is for the uprated intercooler

A very good point, I hadn't considered that - I'm running the stock 'manual' intercooler but plan is to upgrade to one of those Serck ones in the future, it sounds like I'll just need the manual compatable one either way

I just fitted new Radiator and Intercooler, and I too wondered why I had an extra hose

I just assumed it was 10P / 15P were different, but whatever the actual reason, yeah, there must be a choice for that one
