Intake Air Temperature sensor location

Hiya. Can some someone please help me locate the IAT on a 2010 freelander 2 Auto Diesel. Photos would be a great help too. Cheers.

The location of the IAT on a 2010 freelander 2 Auto Diesel should be inline of the air filter, as here in mine. Correction photo shows MAF sensor.

I thought that was the MAF sensor. Sorry, bit of a novice when it comes to electronics.

Sorry yes it is my fault

the IAT is at the front by the dip stick, you have to unclip the coolant hose from the oil level dip stick guide tube, then undo the bolt securing the guide tube bracket, disconnect the wiring plug from the sensor, slacken and remove the retaining screw then withdraw the sensor, always renew the seal, I will try and take a photo later if I do not already have one after I have searched my files.

Here you go but I would say it will be difficult to get to, seems I have also done myself a favour found a little slit in the top intercooler hose.

IAT you may have to remove the fuel filter cover to gain access and the dip stick tube bracket bolt.
