Insurance pay out

Right, me Disco got vandalised and Admiral have wrote it off

They called me this morning and offered me £3,500 less my excess of £350 which would give me £3,150, after a bit of gentle persuasion they increased their offer by £50, I asked for another £100 on top of that but they gave me another £50 giving me £3,250.

Question is, after a quick look on Autotrader there are no V8 LPG Discos for sale in this area, the only ones I have come across are on ebay and are a year newer than my V reg Disco and fetching between 4 and 5K

Should I hold out for more £££ from Admiral?

I fink he is asking whether the offer is a reasonable one - and cant find any to compare - not that he wants to buy one.

send em the cuttings and web pages of the landys at that price range and tell em you'll settle for £4200 minus the £350 excess. That'll still give you £3850. which is what you paid plus cover your excess.
