hi all
got a 300tdi disco recently as well as for on road use i spent alot of money on it for off road use also.
explained to my insurance company wanting it insured for what it all cost me and not market value if god forbid its writen off or stolen.
they advised can only get market value.

anyone advise if they right or if not, any one recommend who would insure what i looking for.

SureTerm were a nightmare when someone drove into the back of my wife in our Defender. It was clearly not her fault and the other side admitted liability. SureTerm made us feel like we were trying to pull a fast one when we simply followed their procedures. Been with Admiral for other cars for years and when she was rear ended several years later they dealt with it excellently.

I think most insurers are crap. The company who insure our fleet are trying to suggest that we had something to do with stripping 3 motors of parts whilst they were parked up for the weekend.

Unfeckinbelievable

I recommend Frank Pickles, did mine for 12months £204 apose to £700 with Directline and it covers offroad use, just don't get any no claims bonus and limited mileage, but that does not bother me as the disco is my 2nd car.
