Disco 2 Instrument cluster

If I replace my instrument cluster I know I have to sync it,

The question is; can I do this with my nanocom, if so how?
Can I put my own disco's mileage in?

if the replacement instrument pack has higher mileage than your's you can't do anything to reduce it, if it's lower synk ODOMETER to BCU in UTILITY, then in TRANSM-LOCK-WARN - disable odometer warning.... DONT SYNC BCU TO ODOMETER!!!

Ok, I hope it hasn't have higher milage so, I need the right milage for tax and accounts reasons.

why do you need to change instrument panel?

Tried to fix the ACE led because the previous owner removed it to hide the problem. While failing to do that I broke my rev counter.

OK I did odometer to BCU, said it was doing it but no confirmation.
Cant find Transm Lock warn maybe because it is a manual?

Milage still flashing.

You Should have Trans lock warn,

I have it on mine.

look in the Valeo BCU area.

Valeo BCU / settings / trans lock warn / odometer error warn.

Ok found it, car is now not starting anymore?

starting again, milage still flashing and on the low milage instead of my own ;-(

disable the warning and the mileage should stop flashing.

Yep, I have got that done, the only thing now is that I still have the low mileage and chimes when I turn on the ignition.

It just wont sync, I have got all the right warning lights on now etc but still it doesn't sync to the higher mileage.

Do you have the latest software of nanocom? it was updated the other week.

I have never tried to sun the odo and BCU. so i cannot tell you anymore than what it states in the book. what chimes do you have?

No I didn't update it, will have a look at that now.

Just one thing before you update it, there is one problem where the instrument panel first page does not update unless you are recording the data to a n SD card.

No I don't, when I look at the kilometers in the nanocom there is a 100,000 km difference. The instrument cluster has the low mileage while my BCU still has the correct mileage

Thanks for the warning, I will get an SD card first!!

reading the manual, it reads like you have to type the mileage into the nanocom to set the Km.
