Been searching the net looking for tyres and i found insa turbo tyres. I looked on the forum and some people seem to think they are good which makes me happy:) . But im stuck on which ones to go for:confused: . The insa turbo mountain or the insa turbo ranger, I prefer the look of the mountain but i was wandering if anyone has any experience with any of them.

Cheers Jol

I have a similar tread pattern to those mountains but on a Yokohama tyre and they are absolutely useless offroad. Got stuck in my 4x4 on a wet grassy field with em.
Insas may be different though.
I've gone for the rangers on the landy and they look like they should be good anywhere, only time will tell.

Ive got Saharas-rate them very highly, good in mud & not overly noisy on the road-although dont push your luck on an icy road!I missed a roundabout by a split pin the other day!
Go to Paddocks, got all 5 for about £205 delivered

My mates just put 4 Saharas on his 90, look like they may wear quick ta me, not a lot of rubber on the road.

I have greenway Macho's Same pattern as Saharas. they've been driven from Scu*thorpe to Somerset and back twice and are fine on the road and not that noisy either. as said be a bit careful on icy or wet roundabouts. I managed to get the back end sliding on one yesterday.

Paddock offer a very good price for tyres but I'm still waiting for my new wheels and tyres to be delivered, its not Paddocks fault but bloody Fedex. Be warned.

Evening,

the mountains are totally useless offroad, it really depends what you want them for, the dakar is one of the best available, land rover mail order are quite good for prices.

I use insa turbo dakars I have done over 8000miles and they are still excellent off road and on road they are noisy but suprisingly good i definately recommend em :)

Right guys - i know this is a bit of an old thread but out laning the other day and i got a puncture of my BFG AT - bit of welsh slate right through the side wall so cat be repaired... my local garage doesnt have stock of BFG's and hasnt for a while... im find them hard to come across or very expensive now....

They suggested the insa turbo ranger - the same pattern as a BFG ... i can get 2 for for the price of one BFG... is it worth it?? I go laning atleast twice a month in the summer but nothing to hardcore.

Im thinking just bite the bullet and get them.... whats the general thoughts on them performance wise?

I use the rangers and find them to be good on road and good when laning but pants if it gets too mudy Just like the BFG at
