Hi Everyone

I have a freelander 2.0 TD 1998 R reg

Ive had problems with the MIL coming on and loss of power put on computer and faults were :
Engine cooling temp sensor
Throttle position sensor

I put new engine cooling temp sensor and problem persisted

I put replacement TPS in and problem still persisted..;.so went to garage to get it put on computer he said that Injection timing deviation came on as a fault he cleared them all.
I got 200 yards and again MIL came on so turned round and he put on computer again and the fault again was Injection timing deviation.
Ive looked online and cant get down to what i need to do to sort it out...
Im hoping someone can help me ?????? please

cheerz steve :(

L series often have a problem with the wiring harness/connectors to the injector pump and also the wiring to number 1 injector.

OK thanks..
Where abouts is the injector pump ?? I know a little about motors but no a lot !!!!!
Someone told us that it could be the crankshaft sensor, so i will check out the connections like u said if i can find em and replace the crankshaft sensor...and hope it works !!!
Do you think it could be the crankshaft sensor ?????

Thanks steve
