Hi guys,

I am wanting to buy an inflatable dinghy.
Not a toy one.
I want one that has the wooden or composite transom, to hang an outboard on.
I would prefer one between 2,8M and 3,5M long.

Don't need a trailer.

What you all got, stashed in the back or the garage?

I have a small 2.8m inflatable tender that I used last year to reach our bigger boat. Its a Wetline with 3 chambers and slated wooden floor. I'm keeping the oars as a spare set.

Now the problem

One of the chambers has a tear in it, we're not talking a small pin hole, its a 3cm tear. I tried to sort it with a clam shell repair kit but gave up and bought a new one. (I did use it to reach the boat and made it back to shore before it went down - just)

If you have the inclination to repair it you can have it, its lying looking sorry for itself.

It would need uplifting from the Glasgow area.

Its only still here coz I've not been to the dump yet.

According to his profile he lives in China so Glasgow may be a bit of a drive for him.

I may have someone who would take the boat off your hands if you're wanting rid of it. Where abouts in Glasgow are you?

Thanks for the offer biggee.
I think I will pass on it.

I guess it could probably be patched professionally, but not by me.

Yeah, not back in UK until middle June, and then it's only 2 days until we go to Spain for a few months holiday.
Thats why I am looking at a RIB or similar, as a play toy.
