Hi Guys

I haven't visited the site for quite a while now but just haven't stopped doing jobs on my RR but now need a bit of help as my nanocom 2 has stopped working on the EAS (won't connect with ECU), I have been talking to blackbox and they have asked me if I could try it on another RR p38a 2001.

So is there any one out there that would let me plug my nano in to there car so I can say it,s my car or the nano that has a fault.
Hopefully not a million miles from Amersham HP6 6QL

Cheers guys:tea:

Mark

FYI. I've had the same problem with my Faultmate, talks to everything else but the EAS. I ended up getting Storey Wilsons software and that worked fine. I didn't get round to contacting Blackbox at the time and then it got forgotten. Must pull it out and have a look at it again (it was a couple of years ago when I had a bag burst - it's been fine since although I've only done around 2000 miles in that time).

Hi Derek

I have connected many time with the nanothe the EAS but all of a sudden nothing

The nanocom won't connect to the EAS or let me see the live data but my laptop will reset the EAS with storey wilsons software and yesterday I bought a bluetooth ELM 327 mini dongle off ebay for £5.49, bought the torque pro app at £2.95 just to see if I had a connection problem with the live data but it connected first time with my HTC sensation. For £8.44 you can see lots of information I was quite surprised, for anyone that's interested check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQSsUPrGLHs and buy the way I have a RR 2001 vogue 4.6L with the motronic engine.

I will check out those connection sockets in the footwell this weekend just to make sure they are ok, thanks for the tip stopover.

Mark

P.S dose anyone know the standard high settings for the EAS all profiles or could you tel me what yours are set at.

The settings vary from car to car as the height sensors are none too accurate, you set it up with a tape measure or blocks, do a search, Saint.V8 has done a good graphic for the heights.

Hi Datatek
