i have been having trouble with the rangie as the key fob will not unlock the car even thought the light on it blinks, then when unlocked manually the car wont start as the immobilizer kicks in and the fob will not register any ideas???????? maybe i can disable the immobilizer or something.

what year is your range, have you tried to resync the key..

Some people have keys that work but the starter just clicks.

its a 1998 i havnt resyced the key as i have no idea how to do this as i had my user manual stolen

try putting the key in the door, press the lock botton and turn to lock. then the same with unlock botton then turn to unlock..

If that fails, you need to put the key in the passenger door, run round to the drivers door, lift the handle 9 times..do not open the door. Then run to the boot, lift handle 18 times whilst whistling colonel bogey. Repeat this 6 times. Then spin round anti-clockwise on a sardine, sing YMCA 4 times and put a blue quality street in your ear. Bang the neighbours wife up the tradesmans and stick a leek up your bum.
