Immobiliser problem

hi can anyone please advise me about my freelander TD4 SE H/B 2003 model immobiliser. I am so frustrated as i have had it in the garage for over 9 weeks now and it won't start. When it went in it was turning over just wouldn't start and after replacing all 3 fuel pumps still wouldn't start and now won't turn over. My mechanic called me yesterday asking for an immobiliser code but I got the car 2nd hand and didn't have it, I rang landrover who informed me to come down with ID and logbook which I did and was then told my freelander doesn't have an immobiliser but it does!!!? Can anyone please advise how to solve this issue?

There isn't an immobilizer code for a 2003 FL1. The key has a transponder fitted, so the immobilizer can read the key is in the ignition lock.
Has your garage changed the high pressure fuel pump regulator O rings? That's the most common cause of non starting with a TD4 engine.
