i got a r reg disco v8 and the light with the key on tried t put the code in with the key but failed,is there a way to bypass it and do i need to reprogram the fob
immobiliser help needed

Not sure what this means "the light with the key on".
All you can do is re-sync the fob by pressing the fob lock button up to four times.
Do you have a good battery in the fob other than that you fob can be faulty, have a look at the Remotekey site for more info. Fobs can only be programed with Testbook or similar.
